Repeats the Netgear Wi-Fi 11n

Netgear offers a device that will appeal to people who have large areas to cover in Wi-Fi: A repeater can work on Wi-Fi 802.11n. The WN3000RP is indeed a rather compact terminal that can extend a Wi-Fi securely and - according to Netgear - simple. The unit plugs into a socket and extends your wireless network seamlessly, with the added ability to plug a device into the Ethernet device, which can act as bridge.

For people in WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), the operation is a breeze: just press the button to secure the network. For others, it's still pretty simple: just tell the WN3000RP to extend the network and the WPA. Interesting point of the device, it is compatible with the 802.11n standard, which extends the network while keeping good performance, while many of its competitors are only compatible with the standard 11g.

Note, only the frequency band of 2.4 GHz (most common) is supported. The advertised price of this unit is 70 €, the price of a conventional access point.
