The manufacturer Thermaltake has announced the launch of a new power supply range: Toughpower the Great. This range currently consists of three models of a power respective 850W, 1050W and 1200W. 80Plus certified Gold, the modular display alims efficiency up to 93%. They have of course an active PFC and are equipped with a 140 mm fan.
It continues to operate for several tens of seconds after shutdown to cool the components. CrossFireX and SLI compatible, these power supplies have finally 8 PCI-Express 6 +2 pin. Toughpower power supplies are guaranteed 7 years, but have not yet on price or availability date.
