Flash Player 10.2 is available in final version

Adobe has announced the final version of Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac and Linux. Among the main improvements are an API Stage Video that promises to dramatically lighten the load on the processor during playback of video in high resolution. The new feature of the plugin needs to be enabled, even though "the server side, then content delivery sites such as YouTube, Vimeo and the like will have to work to make technology available to users who connect.

Adobe says that after the upgrade of a video playback Full HD 1080p will cost no more than 15% of CPU time. There are also added as an additional option for single-monitor full screen multi-display that allows you to view a Flash video in full screen on one of the panels, leaving other, hardware acceleration for IE9 and improvements in the rendering algorithms the text.

This version of the Flash Player also marks the discontinuation of support for the old PowerPC Mac, and Microsoft Windows 2000.
