Three i5/i7 ULV Core Intel in cartons

While Intel has just formalize seven new processors Sandy Bridge (four Pentium, Core i5 i3 and two), the smelter would also in the pipeline ULV three processors: the Core i5-2557M, 2637M and Core i7 Core i7-2657M. They would complement the current range of CPU ULV Sandy Bridge, consisting of i5-2537 m (1.4 GHz), Core i7-2617M (1.5 GHz) and Core i7-2657M (1.6 GHz).

Clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2.7 GHz Turbo mode, the i5-2557M graphics chipset will carry a speed of 350 MHz (1.2 GHz max) and 3 MB L3 cache. Dual-core, this CPU has Hyperthreading of course, all for a TDP of 17 watts only. Side of the Core i7-2637M, we would be entitled to a CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz with a frequency of 2.8 GHz Turbo climbing.

4 MB of cache are integrated, while the graphics chipset and the TDP are identical to those of the i5-2557M. Finally, the Core i7-2677M sees its frequency to 1.8 GHz (2.9 GHz Turbo mode). Other features are similar to those of the Core i7-2637M. The prices of these processors ULV are not yet known, but one should not delay in seeing them land in some models of laptops ...
