Some pictures and especially the characteristics of the GA-990FXA-UD7 Gigabyte recently made their appearance on the canvas. This is an opportunity to discover more about this motherboard for future processors on Socket AM3 +. Based on AMD's 990FX chipset, along with a SB950 southbridge, the motherboard has an ATX power supply stage at 8 +2 phase and enjoy the Ultra Durable 3 of the manufacturer.
There are four DDR3 slots, six PCI-Express x16 (SLI and CrossFireX), two USB 3.0 connectors and eight SATA 6 Gbps (two of which related to additional Marvell controller). Controllers Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire, and 7.1 audio are also available, along with two eSATA ports. Buttons Power, Reset and Clear CMOS are finally placed directly on the PCB, which should please those who love overclocking.
