Nvidia delayed the launch of its GTX 590

Fortunately for fans of the green mark, this delay will be of only 2 days. The Nvidia GTX 590 had been launched on 22 March morning, but the new official date has been moved to 24th. The expected top-end graphics card from Nvidia, the GTX 590 will be a delay of only two days, from 22 to 24 March. The reason has not been declared by the company, which hoped to launch your product as soon as possible to subtract streaks AMD's recently released Radeon HD 6990, its direct competitor.

As for his spec, s we will have 2 cores GF110 with 512 shader (or core CUDA and Nvidia likes to call them), ie, the complete core as the GTX 580. The memory bus is 256 bits for each core, and 1536MB of GDDR5 memory capacity, making a total of 3GB. Although no official data, the frequencies of the core, shaders and memory could be 612, 1224 and 3420MHz respectively, values lower than the GTX 580 and 570, although it is understood to hold the card within a certain temperature values.

Following cooling, the card makes use of a solution that takes up 2 slots, as expected. It has 2 steam chambers to dissipate the heat produced in both cores, heat is removed through a central fan. In terms of design, features a 12-layer PCB (with 2 ounces of copper in total) and the power of the graph is spread across 10 stages.

There are no official price for the GTX 590, to be unveiled March 24.
