MSI GX480

MSI has just announced a new model of laptop with a screen 14-inch (1366 x 768 pixels, LED backlight) and based on a platform Huron River (Sand Bridge Mobile): the GX480. Boasting a weight of 2.2 kg on the scales, this notebook is equipped with a 6-cell battery giving it a maximum range of 8.5 hours.

It features a Core i3-2310M (2.1 GHz) or Core i5-2410M (2.3 GHz) depending on the version, a hard disk with a capacity of 640 GB, GeForce GT 520 and a 1GB drive DVD. There are also a memory card reader, 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet controllers, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 (optional).


HDMI output and USB 3.0 ports complete the package. Unfortunately MSI has not yet indicated the price and availability date of the GX480.
