Scythe Mine 2, New CPU cooler with 140mm fan

Systems specialist Japanese CPU cooling Scythe has announced the launch of its new high-performance heatsink Scythe Mine 2, which has a 140mm fan and voltage regulator. Mine sink 2 has 8 copper heatpipes, high-performance, which dissipate heat from the processor through two blocks of dissipation of generous dimensions.

14cm fan installed between them, air flow (both entering as they exit) will be optimized to provide the highest performance. In addition, the lower fan installed will help cool the components located around the processor. The sink structure allows up to three fans at the same time, so that in this way to maximize air flow and thus the efficiency of this sink to the peak using the push-pull principle.

By default, the Mine 2 comes with a 140mm fan PWM Slip Stream and a voltage regulator. Therefore, this feature supports PWM fan (speed controlled automatically based on temperature), and also offers a setting using the potentiometer provided. The fan runs at a speed of between 470 and 1370 rpm PWM mode, and 740-1900 rpm with the voltage regulator.

For a secure and stable, using the new anchorage system called FMSB3 Scythe (Super Flip Mount backplate 3). With this design improved backplate, the Mine 2 is compatible with all sockets on the market today, including the new LGA1155. Scythe Mine 2 will be available worldwide in early February at a price of 50.50 euros plus VAT.
