Sony DCR-SX21E: Standard Definition camcorders

The Handycam DCR-SX21E of taking on video with 720x576 pixels in MPEG2 format. Mounting features a CCD sensor and a 57-fold optical. In advanced mode, which also involves digital zoom is available, the user has a 67-fold zoom. To prevent blurring, the manufacturer has equipped the camera with Super SteadyShot image stabilization.

The SX21E has a 2.7 (6.7 centimeters) wide, with a hinged LCD screen of 230,400 pixels. The camera has an LED video light, which is manually or in automatic mode switched on. The built-in microphone will record the audio in Dolby Digital stereo. As the first camcorder in Sony's entry-level segment, the model has an auto mode, automatically detects the shooting conditions and adjusts focus, exposure, color and other settings to the conditions.


The SX21E also has face recognition, to take photographs of the people as possible. The video camera has an A / V output, USB port and memory card slot for Memory Stick PRO Duo, SD, SDHC or SDXC card.
