Chip sales rose 14%

If one believes the figures released by the SIA (Semiconductor Industry Association), the market for semiconductors grew 14% between January 2010 and January 2011, reaching $ 25.5 billion. It's also 1.5% better than previous month. The U.S. market grew 2.9% in December, while the Asia Pacific market grew 2.9%.

Only the Japanese market shrank by 3.5% over the same period. In short, the year 2011 begins quite well for the semiconductor industry ...
