McAfee discovery: more than 70 goals so far uncovered biggest hacker wave

Summarizes the results of a McAfee scan. The list of victims is manifold: it includes computer networks of governments in the U.S., Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam, Canada. PC systems in companies of various industries and organizations including the International Olympic Committee, the United Nations and the World Anti-Doping Agency, are among the targets.

The experts from the security company will assume that the attacks come from a single country. Information on the perpetrators of the attacks does not provide McAfee. Jim Lewis, Cyber expert from the U.S. "Center for Strategic and International Studies", manifests itself more clearly: The reports provide clues that suggest a wave of attacks from China.


McAfee gained access to the data records of a key, which should have controlled since 2006, hacker attacks. At present it is unclear what happened to the data peered out.
