Corsair has announced the launch of its SSD Force GT models with 2.5-inch carrying a SandForce SF-2280 controller and NAND flash memory chips MLC. Equipped with a 6 Gbps SATA interface, the display according to the manufacturer SSD speeds of around 555 MB / s read and 525 MB / s sequential write. In 4K random reads, the performance reached 85,000 IOPS.
The MTBF rises for its 2 million hours. Guaranteed for life, the Force GT is expected in July in the 60 GB version ($ 149) and 120GB ($ 279). A 240 GB version should then also make an appearance.
