Samsung NC215S: the solar netbook

Solar energy is the energy of the future. It certainly must think that the engineers at Samsung have developed the NC215S. Based on Intel's Atom platform, the netbook has indeed the distinction of being fitted with photovoltaic cells. Not enough to go completely battery (the energy produced is certainly much less than that consumed by the machine), but it can slightly increase the autonomy of the netbook, provided of course that you do not use it in the dark ...

In the end, and the maximum range reached 14 hours. As for other specifications, there is a 10.1-inch screen capable of displaying a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, an Atom processor N455 or N570, 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive or 320 GB WiFi and Bluetooth controllers and a memory card reader.

Expected next month on American soil, the Samsung NC215S should be offered at a price of 399 dollars.
