Gigabyte announced a significant addition to its series motherboards G1-Killer, a technology developed by Advanced Stream Detect Bigfoot Networks. With the addition of Advanced Stream Detect technology, Gigabyte goes one step further for G1 series-Killer motherboards aimed at the most demanding users and especially gamers.
This technology is to prioritize network traffic for situations where you are watching a streaming video or downloading a file does not interfere with the latency online gaming, giving priority to the latter. Using the Network Manager software allows Killer to see how much bandwidth you are using, what applications are running and allows the management of control and adjustment of the bandwidth of each application to stop the best performance of all applications line.
