The Radeon HD 6870 X2 land

Powercolor and Club 3D both come to announce the launch of their Radeon HD 6870 X2 respectively. We remember that the first had taken advantage of Computex to exhibit his model, designed to compete with the upcoming GeForce GTX 580. No real surprise, the technical characteristics of these two cards are similar.

We thus find two graphics chipsets Barts clocked at 900 MHz, for a total of 2240 Stream Processors. The 2 GB of GDDR5 memory running on their side at 1050 MHz on a bus 2 x 256-bit. Two DVI, an HDMI 1.4 output and two outputs mini DisplayPort 1.2 is available on each model. Even cooler used, dual-slot and has two fans, is identical on both cards.

The only difference between these two Radeon HD 6870 X2 appears to be at the level of price: 449 dollars for that of PowerColor, 20 dollars more for the model Club 3D ...
