Panasonic has equipped its satellite receiver with a 320-gigabyte hard drive. It has room for 45 hours of HDTV or 129 hours of video content in SD quality. It can record two programs at the same time (HDTV Twin-SAT-receiver). Practical: While recording, you see a live TV program.
The current program allows to pause and continue at a later time (time shift) - Panasonic calls it the "Pause Live TV 'function. With "Rewind live TV" broadcasts rewind back up to 90 minutes. On board is an 'upscaling', the standard-definition content in almost extrapolate high-definition quality, Panasonic promises.
