Nvidia introduces the GTX 580M, the most powerful notebook GPU

After teasing Ave attention with this teaser, Nvidia has officially comes out, and the GTX 580M. We face the most powerful mobile GPU devoted to gaming ever created. The technical specifications are discrete GPU generation-end performance (impressive considering that we are ready for a product for laptops!) And will include the integration of CUDA 384 Cores combined with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory with 256-bit bus.

The clock speeds are 620MHz for the GPU, shaders and 1500MHz for 1240MH for the memories. The GPU is fully compatible with DirectX11 and supports technologies for the nVidia 3D stereo 3DVision, PhysiX for the management of physics, for switching between Optimus iGPU / dGPU and SLI multi-GPU.

In SLI the GTX 580M transforms the notebook into a gaming position without compromise. Together with the GTX 580M was announced also the GTX 570M, a solution which is square as price / performance ratio between the new top of the range and the recent GTX 560M. In this case the technical talk about 336 core CUDA-enabled, 1.5GB GDDR5 VRAM interface 192-bit frequency 575/1150/1500MHz (GPU / SPs / Mem).
