New motherboards from ASRock AM3 +

After some of its competitors, ASRock has to turn to unveil its future models of motherboards compatible with AMD Socket AM3 +. No fewer than nine models are expected, all based on a chipset from the 800 series: the 890FX chipset 890FX Deluxe5 uses the 890GX Extreme4 R2.0, 890GX Pro3 Pro3 and 890GM chipset 890GX R2.0 using the 880GMH/U3S3 , 880GM Pro3 Pro3 R2.0 and 880g are based on a 880g chipset while the 870 Extreme3 R2.0 and R2.0 870iCafe must be content with a chipset 870.

The differences lie in the presence or absence of an integrated graphics chipset, the support of USB 3.0 or even different modes Turbo. All models carry a 7.1 audio controller and offer management of RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 of their various ports SATA 6 Gbps. ASRock also takes the opportunity to clarify its position regarding the compatibility of AM3 + with AM3 motherboards.

This differs from Asus or MSI. Thus, the manufacturer believes that AM3 CPU + motherboard needs an AM3 +, and although it remains possible to use such a CPU with an "old" AM3 motherboard through a BIOS update, all being compatible physically, the reliability of the result can not be assured and this solution could cause "some impact" (sic).

In short, much that can be tested and judge for ourselves the AM3 + CPUs are compatible with AM3 motherboards ...
