HP has unveiled the 3105m, an ultra-portable "professional", with a 11.6 inch screen diagonal and a platform based on AMD's Fusion Brazos. We thus find an APU-350 E x86 combining two cores running at 1.6 GHz Bobcat and a Radeon HD 6310, up to 8 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive screen backlight LED capable of displaying a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
Controllers Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 are available (optional 3G), and a GPS receiver and a VGA webcam. A memory card reader SD / MMC and integrated speakers complete the package. Comes with a 6-cell battery allowing a maximum endurance of 9.5 hours, the 3105m is guaranteed for one year.
Running on Windows 7 or FreeDOS, this ultra-portable is now available from $ 459.
