Social Networking: Google + memory leak led to the flood of spam

Hard to believe but true: The Internet giant Google, on Sunday was out of memory for 80 minutes. This affected the Notification Server, which handles the traffic for about notifications. The result: Many Google + users were inundated by a wave of spam. They received repeated messages to a new commentary or a new person in a circle.

One revealed: Google + already registered some 4.7 million users (an increase by a factor of 2.8 in just six days) - and counting.
