MSI announces its first motherboard socket FM1

MSI has just announced its first motherboard socket FM1 format compatible with ATX AMD Llano. The card-A75A G35 takes full advantage of all the features of the AMD chipset Lynx A75. Equipped with 7 expansion slots, using a 4-phase power circuitry, and only two slots for dual-channel DDR3 memory (up to DDR3-1866 MHz).

Connectivity is ensured by DVI outputs, D-Sub and HDMI with 7.1 channel audio, Gigabit Ethernet, 4 USB 3.0 ports and several USB 2.0 ports. There is no eSATA connector for which all the connections offered by the chipsets have been around for six SATA 6 Gb / s internal.
