A new HP TouchPad for August

HP is about to launch a new tablet in August, when he sold the first version there are only a few days in the United States. The new model will sport a glossy white frame, 64 GB of storage space and a dual core processor Snapdragon faster running at 1.5 GHz. The model now has an ARM chip running at 1.2 GHz and 16 GB or 32 GB of memory, depending on the variations.

The new model will also be compatible 4G. The differences are not very important. It's all the same TouchPad more upscale. We can assume that the shortages have prevented from delivering adequate supplies at the launch of the tablet, which would explain an output shifted to the next TouchPad.

HP has acknowledged that stocks of its 16GB model were very limited and it would encourage retailers to promote the 32 GB, which is more expensive, according to Central Pre who published confidential documents from HP. In the fall, HP is also expected to deliver its Opal, a 7-inch tablet webOS.

To recap, the touchpad has a screen diagonal of 9.7 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 768, like the iPad. Rumors say that the brand name Opal would TouchPad7. The first tests of the shelf fell and TouchPad HP has a long way to go. It is heavier and thicker than its competitors. In addition, there is no photo sensor on the back, but the biggest problem probably comes from the operating system.

WebOS has qualities. It supports flash and is compatible with many mail clients and calendars. Its management and multitasking system cards have its followers, like its virtual keyboard. Nevertheless, the system still suffers from many bugs and slowdowns and a lack of application it is sorely lacking.

Finally, many accuse him his price too high. The 16GB version is sold $ 500, against $ 600 for 32 GB These are the same price as the iPad 2 for a system that is still lower.
