MSI unveils its X460 ultra-thin and X460DX

The manufacturer MSI has unveiled two new ultra-thin laptop models that come sit in the range X-Slim: The X460 and X460DX. With the screen 14-inch diagonal backlit LED, capable of displaying a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, these notebooks are based on an Intel platform Huron River. The X460 and then boarded a X460DX Core i5-2410M (2 GHz) or Core i7-2630QM (2.3 GHz), hard disk with a capacity of 750 GB and a DVD burner.

There are also Gigabit Ethernet controllers, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0, VGA and HDMI, an integrated webcam and an audio THX TruStudio Pro. The 6-cell battery provides for its range of up to 8 hours. The difference between the two models lies in the graphics: if the X460 uses the integrated Intel GPU HD 3000, X460DX take his side to a GeForce GT 540M along with 1 GB of memory.
