Apple iPad 2: in the fall the HD version with retinal display?

As several IT blogs report, Apple is currently looking around for manufacturers that produce the touch screen for the "iPad 2 HD." The resolution of the retinal screen should be 2048x1536 pixels. By comparison, the current resolution is "only" 1024x768 pixels. In a retinal display the pixel density is so high that the human eye edges (such as letters) are no longer recognizes, the display is so sharp and detailed.

Whether Apple iPad 2 HD more technical innovations (for example, a better camera) donated is not known. Possibly the Tablet PC but will come with an extended software package for graphic designers, photographers and video professionals on the market.
