After presenting the first of the family APU Llano A6 and A8-3650-3850, AMD is preparing to introduce a new model. The identity card of the APUs A8-3870 reveals a more dedicated overclocking solution that offers a fully unlocked multiplier and an operating frequency of 3.1 GHz by default The processor is based on quad-core architecture and features a DirectX 11 GPU Radeon HD 6550D with 400 stream processors running at 600 MHz and a controller of the dual-channel DDR3-1866 MHz This new APU comes up to the fourth quarter of 2011.
