The game on Cloud arrives in Europe

OnLive, the service of video games on the cloud, has announced on his website that he was going to kick off a UK site on June 7, the day of the opening of E3. The games will be available this fall. So far, the platform was reserved for the United States. This announcement means qu'OnLive begins to deploy its servers in Europe and a French release is not far off.

The company will announce its international strategy in the video game trade show. In June 2010, OnLive kicked-off its U.S. service that allows you to play PC games on the cloud. As we report (see "was tested by gaming Onlive cloud"), the service is intended primarily for small configurations that do not have material resources to run the latest titles.

The server handles the calculations and sends the report to the client. It is true that there is high latency, but they are not troublesome during campaigns solos. British and American customers can communicate with each other. They will play together in multiplayer games, the bleachers and share videos of their game.

OnLive also decided to extend the number of media compatible with their system. You can play from a shelf or TV Vizio Android and the firm has released a controller that connects to the media using a wireless connection or a USB dongle. It is also negotiating partnerships to integrate OnLive in Blu-ray players and TVs.

The company has finally announced that its platform now connects with Facebook to help share the titles of games being played. The friends of the user will also be viewers of its parts or to join. It is also possible to communicate orally through the OnLive Voice Chat.
