Zotac has unveiled a new video card series Multiview. This is the Multiview 550Ti GTX card, which is attached to the previous model GTX 560Ti and that allows to drive both a display number greater than the Nvidia reference solutions. Note that all reference GeForce video cards can handle up to 2 displays simultaneously, which became three in the case of SLI configurations on a single board (like the GTX 590 and GTX 460 2Win) or multi-card.
The Zotac GTX 550Ti Multiview has an external video controller chip GF116 order to support a third monitor. The video outputs are provided for 5 (2 DVI, 2 HDMI and 1 DP) but can not be used all at once: the configuration to three displays is supported through the two HDMI or DVI + DP.
