The AC700, the Acer Chromebook repulsed

The AC700, the Chromebook Acer, would be delayed to an unknown date, while in pre-order since June 15 and was due June 24 A blow to the operating system from Google: the only machine that should be moved to the launch is a Samsung model. Recall that Chromebook use the operating system from Google, Chrome OS, and the machine is dedicated to the cloud.

Specifically, the capacity of local storage is very low (16 GB) and the machine is dependent on an internet connection. One problem with the model of Acer is the price: $ 380 AC700 is proposed in the U.S. with features very (too) classics for the price: 11 inch screen 1366 x 768, Atom N570 (dual core) , 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB SSD.

Autonomy announced is correct, 6.5 hours, and integration of the 3G modem is interesting, but more complete netbooks exist in Windows 7, with a storage capacity more in line with the needs of users. Hopefully Google will come out that Acer still faster his machine ...
