560M GTX, the new nVidia GPU for gaming on notebooks

Today, NVIDIA officially presented a new family of GPU GTX 500M dedicated specifically to gaming on a notebook platform. We refer to the GeForce GTX 560M, a solution which will debut as an evolution of the GTX to offer in the field of 460m gaming performance even more interesting. We find CUDA 192 Cores combined with a memory bus 192-bit wide again, but the clock frequencies of the GPU and Shaders increased to 775/1550 MHz against the GTX 675/1350MHz 460m.

The dedicated GDDR5 memory, the total amount available in 1.5 or 3GB, traveling at 5000MHz effective. The GeForce GTX 560M, as well as being fully compatible with DirectX11 API, supports Nvidia 3DVision, Physix and Optimus, the first elevates the experience of gaming and entertainment in general to a new level of realism, the second speeds up the calculations relating to physical objects and the third one enables switching between iGPU (GPU integrated into the CPU) and discrete GPU depending on the type of application used to optimize energy consumption.

Among the handsets are equipped with this GPU on Qosmio X770 Toshiba. Available in "normal" screen 17.3 "inches @ 1600 * 800 pixel resolution or 3D version Qosmio X770-screen 3D Full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) active shutter glasses and bundles, the Japanese manufacturer of notebook anything not to hide their vocation as a pure gaming.
