Zotac GeForce GTX prepares Monster 580: up to 500W power

The brand specializes in Nvidia graphics cards, Zotac, prepare an improved version of the GTX 580, focusing on food with 18 stages and the cooling core and components. The card is shaping up as the next graph of a kernel that will beat all losrecords. Thinking mainly overclockers, Zotac estabrutal designed version of the Nvidia GTX 580.

The regulation of feeding is done through 18 phases, which receive the power of 2 8-pin connectors. As you can see in the image below, the VRMs occupy much of the PCB of the graph, with high-quality MOSFETs, capacitors and proadlizers server type (Device for reducing electrical noise, think of them as a capacitor advanced version .) According to Zotac, the combination of these elements would handle up to 500W.

Gold's strength is its chilling graphics, divided into 2 parts, one traditional and one core dedicated to all PCB components that require refrigeration, from memory chips to MOSFETs. The sink for the components is made of aluminum and occupies most of the surface of the PCB, while the traditional heat sink consists of a large amount of aluminum fins, 6 heatpipes 6mm, all cooled by 2 120mm fans.

Their frequencies are enhanced factory, with 850, 1700 and 1110MHz (4400 effective) for core, shader and memory respectively. Zotac claims that the card has an ability to overclock well above average, so no wonder they start appearing in her records (although probably with other more advanced cooling for the GPU, such as dry ice).

The outputs of the card are 2 CVI, and 1 HDMI and DisplayPort. Source: MyDrivers
