Chrome OS, the operating system from Google, is eagerly awaited. And the company could offer innovative billing: with a subscription. Google's plans have always said that Chrome OS was very tied to hardware, with atypical solutions, including the requirement to use an SSD in netbooks under this system.
At first glance, Chrome OS should not even be offered alone, it will be mandatory to get a computer OS for Chrome enjoy. And Google could offer an innovative system for machinery Chrome OS: a subscription. The latter, whose price would be between 10 and $ 20 per month, would include the rental of the machine and the update of the OS and maybe - as with Cr48 - a 3G subscription base, 200 MB per example.
Remember that Chrome is an OS operating system "cloud" and an Internet connection is necessary, even if a user is offline. Interestingly, changing the computer would be included in the subscription: by subscription and the initial machine, the subscriber may change more or less regular computer, based on advanced technology.
Remains to be seen whether this subscription will be realized and the exact price of the latter. Moreover, it would be interesting to know whether an initial investment is required.
