Intel ready to do anything for a tablet Honeycomb

Intel is doing a massive lobbying to convince manufacturers of tablets out Honeycomb models using its processors by offering significant discounts. That's what DigiTimes reports that Intel says is about to announce an Android 3.0/Intel after six months of negotiations with Google. The founder also offer a rebate of $ 10 per chip to manufacturers who agree to use its Atom Honeycomb in their systems.

Whereas the price of a SoC Oak Trail is $ 75 per thousand units (see "Intel addresses the shelves and the Fusion AMD). This represents 13% of the price, which is beneficial and should help the chipmaker in its struggle against the ARM architecture. Acer, Lenovo and ASUS have already pledged to leave the models Honeycomb / Intel and Cisco would work as a tablet intended for the professional world.
