C202 Intel chipset from Gigabyte

The manufacturer Gigabyte has unveiled a new motherboard designed for servers and workstations, the GA-6UASL. Based on a chipset C202 (Cougar Point), this motherboard micro-ATX format supports Intel Core and Xeon E3 i3 on socket LGA 1155. It has a floor of 4 +1 Phase power and supports up to 32GB of DDR3-1333.

A PCI-Express 16x is present, and a PCI-Express x8, one PCI-Express 4x, and a PCI slot. Six SATA 3 Gbps connectors are also available, along with Intel 82574L controllers (Gigabit Ethernet) and XGI Z9s (graphics chipset supporting up to 64 MB of memory). Finally, there are six USB 2.0 ports, two RJ45 connectors, a VGA and a COM port.

The price and date of availability of this motherboard is not yet known.
