NVIDIA Enhances 3D glasses

NVIDIA has improved its 3D glasses used with 3D Vision. The new version is on IR - radio is reserved for professional models - but the autonomy of the new glasses is rising: it goes from 40 to 60 hours. Remember that NVIDIA's glasses are models called "active" glasses incorporate LCD screens that alternately darken so that each eye receives only a picture on both.

The technology requires a screen capable of working at 120 Hz (60 fps per eye), either 120 Hz or an LCD projector or CRT capable of working at this frequency refreshments. The glasses are synchronized with the public screen via a small box to plug in USB which is connected to the glasses via an infrared link.

Good news, the price decreases: the basic kit - sender and glasses - from 200 to $ 150 and the glasses are now worth only $ 120. For those who already have a 3D TV Panasonic brand, NVIDIA offers software that allows the use of 3D glasses from the TV directly, as long as your graphics card has an HDMI output.
