DS Superclocked EVGA GTX 580 with custom heat sink

EVGA submitted directly on its website a new version of video card based on GeForce GTX 580. The card is characterized by slightly higher operating frequencies than those specifically recommended by nVidia and adopt a custom cooling system. Instead of the vapor-chamber heat sink with fan turbine are an aluminum radiator that covers the entire PCB in combination with one set of copper heatpipes and surmounted by two axial fans.

According to the home of Brea this solution provides a total cooling more efficient, especially when overclocking, without altering too much the occupation of two slots on the motherboard. The GF110 GPU operates at 797 MHz of cock, with the 512 MHz CUDA Cores taken in 1594 (the values of the nVidia reference board are respectively equal to 772 MHz and 1544 MHz video memory, in quantities of 384-1535MB interface - bit, the operating frequency is equal to 4050 MHz against a specific value of 4008 MHz EVGA GTX 580 price of the DS Superclocked is 519.99 U.S. dollars.
