Multi-monitor support for advanced custom Galaxy GeForce

All GeForce video cards can handle up to two displays at once, they become three in the case of single-card SLI configurations (like the GTX 590 and GTX 460 2Win) or multi-card. This is one of the major limitations of the proposed nVidia for the desktop market than the competition. AMD already take it for two generations - Radeon HD 5000 and HD 6000 - support for multi-monitor technology Eyefinity, which manages at least 3 display side by side, across the range.

Galaxy is a partner of Nvidia in the past year was marked by continuous experimentation with video cards based on GeForce referece not design. The last two products of Hong Kong are called GTX 560 and G210 Display5 4D and are characterized by their ability to drive a maximum number of simultaneously display more than 3.

The GTX 560 uses the same PCB Display5 custom of the GTX 460 GPU GF114 WHDI combined with a controller and a video of the IDT. The board has 6 video outputs (4 HDMI, 1 DVI, 1 DP) and allows you to connect up to 5 contemperaneamente display. The G210 is based on 4D GT218 GPU with a PCB borrowed from nVidia Quadro entry-level and uses two external split DMS59 DVI to drive 4 monitors.

Both cards require specific drivers to function.
