22 years ago, Nintendo launched the (the?) Game Boy portable console. This device was a godsend for users of the era, with its mythical provided game bundled, Tetris. Game Boy offered a screen in 160 x 144 with 4 shades of "yellow / green on the original model, and 8 KB of video RAM. The central processor was an 8-bit model clocked at 4 MHz.
Originally proposed in a shell beige, shell version with transparent colors or have existed. A version of "Pocket" was launched in 1995, smaller and with a better screen. A version of "Light", rare, was proposed in 1998, with the main difference a backlit display. In late 1998, Nintendo has the Game Boy Color, a faster version (8 MHz) and has a color screen capable of displaying 56 out of 32 768.
Extend the range with the Game Boy Advance in 2001, the Game Boy Advance SP in 2003 and the Game Boy Micro in 2005. Anecdotally, the use FireWire connectivity very inspired connectors used to connect two Game Boy.
