A new Xbox in 2015?

A Microsoft employee reveals that a new Xbox should be placed on the market in 2015 if everything goes well. No details yet filtered through the features of the console, but the information seems to confirm the schedule of Redmond. Ben Patterson's site has since removed the design and caption explaining that he had joined the division IEB (Interactive Entertainment Business) Microsoft to work on the user experience and hardware of the Xbox in 2015.

The Xbox 360 was released in 2005, which would give it a lifespan of ten years, which seems to be a good estimate. Moreover, when the output of KINECTS in 2010, Microsoft claimed that the new interface would give 5 more years to the console. 2015 seems to be a very good estimate. The leak seems too deliberate.

The document, removed very soon after its publication, showed an image that did not make much sense and more like a teaser than anything else. Nintendo 3DS (see "The AdS: Nintendo 3DS is not for geeks") and the Xperia Play (see "Havok on Android: the physics of the Xperia Play"), also known as the name of PlayStation Phone, monopolize the press at this time.

NVIDIA has already announced work on the next consoles. Microsoft shows, intentionally or not, he is already preparing the advantage of passing spotlights.
