One month after the release of the Preview of Mac OS X 10.7, developers argue that Apple is preparing to leave the Golden Master 1 or GM1. If GM1 Lion is confirmed, it looks more like a Release Candidate today. Developers say Apple could indeed issue a GM2 if the first version suffers from many bugs. The release date has been placed in summer 2011 since the introduction of the system in October 2010 (see "OS X 10.7 Lion, the PC meets the iPad").
A presentation at WWDC would be logical and the new states at the outset that the development of the operating system seems to be on track.
