Lian-Li has launched its new and extremely stylish PC-U6 semitorre Cowry Special Edition: a box fully painted in black with a design that resembles a snail shell. This chassis provides one of a kind personality and customization, breaking the stereotype that PC boxes are simply "boxes" for storing components.
Inspired by nature, Cowry has a specific purpose. It is not intended to be "hidden" under the table, but to form part of the decoration style oozing everywhere. So far, the PC chassis with unique designs were intended only for Gamers, but with the new Cowry this has come to an end, as it is designed for all users who want maximum functionality combined with the best style.
The PC-U6 Cowry is extremely versatile and has a large interior space. Users can mount three drives of 3.5 "and two 2.5" internal. All spaces have hard drive installation without tools and kits come with standard anti vibration. Externally, you can mount a 5.25 "bay, also with tool-less system.
It also has four PCI slots on the rear ventilated, with enough space to mount graphics cards up to 310mm in length. The PC-U6 Cowry supports Micro-ATX boards and Mini-ITX power supplies and standard ATX size, which will be mounted on the base of the box, on a washable dust filter. The Cowry is also optimized as a thermal design concerns.
Two 120mm side fans are incarcerated to maintain the flow of air flowing constantly to prevent hot air bags indoors. Both fans have a washable dust filter. It also has a speed controller for these fans, included in the front of the box. To further help the airflow, the designers have incorporated ventilation holes in the front and rear, and like the rest, are protected by washable dust filter.
Also included are two rubber holes to mount protected by water cooling. This special edition box comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one e-SATA and audio minijacks at the base of the front. It also has a USB port converter 3.0 to 2.0. Lian Li also includes holes for canalizaciónd and cables inside the box.
Finally, the box kit has a 530mm red LED so that users can illuminate the interior of the box as you wish. The Lian-Li PC-U6 Cowry Special Edition, made entirely of aluminum, weighs 4.5kg and dimensions of 219mm x 500mm x 410mm. Will be available in late May at a MRSP of $ 349.
