First images from Z68X-UD3P Gigabyte-B3

With coolpc page. com. tw we saw the first images of Z68X-UD3P Gigabyte-B3, in the middle of speculation that talk about leaving manufacturing Gigabyte boards with P67 chipset to focus only on the Z68 chipset. The new UD3P motherboard chipset is based on the Z68, and EFI-BIOS presents a hybrid (dual BIOS supports disks larger than 3 TB), and is uniquely designed to use dedicated graphics cards, since no connectivity for displays (DSUB , DVI or HDMI).

The processor is powered by a 14-phase VRM MOSFETs uses a passive cooled heatsinks. Through pictures we can see that it includes two PCI-Express 2.0 @ 16x (which operate electrically 8x 8x when both are being used), with support for 2-way NVIDIA SLI and CrossFireX AMD. As for storage connectivity can see four 6Gbps SATA ports (two of PCH Z68 and 2 of the Marvell controller), and other internal 4-port SATA 3Gbps.

Continuing with the connectivity section we can see 4 USB 3.0 (two of them internal to connect to the front of the box), 8 USB 2.0 ports, firewire, ethernet and HD audio. The X68X-UD3P should join the rest of the family Gigabyte in early May.
