ASRock unveils new motherboards based on Intel Z68

As we know Intel is working on the Z68 chipset which will bring significant improvements to its platform for the new CPU and Sandy Bridge will come on the market towards the end of the second quarter of 2011. In particular, the Z68 chipset supports both the guaranteed overclocking feature from the current P67 chipset, graphics core is integrated into the Core of the second generation of typical chipsety H67.

ASRock is brought forward and presented his series motherboards with the new Z68 Express chipset. In particular, the manufacturer announced models Extreme4 Z68, Z68 and Z68 Pro3 Pro3-M. These motherboards feature Intel technologies such as Smart Response through which any SSD drive can be used as a cache for a traditional hard drive, Lucid Virtu to switch from discrete graphics card to integrated graphics core based on usage that you are doing system (and therefore be eligible for the Quick Sync technology even when using a system with discrete VGA), USB XFast to improve the performance of USB and On / Off Play to listen to music with your computer on standby.

The top model, Extreme4 Z68, uses all-polymer capacitors DuraCaps 100% Japan-made and Digi Power Supply circuitry design that replaces the PWM to improve stability and efficiency. The board Z68 Pro3, in the ATX form factor, supports dual channel DDR3 2133, Intel HD graphics, USB 3.0, SATA3 and video outputs D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI.

Z68 Pro3-M Micro ATX format is instead but still supports 4 memory modules DDR3 2133, Intel HD graphics and a 4 video outputs including D-Sub, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort.
