The manufacturer Sapphire has announced the launch of EDGE-HD, a platform based on a nettop Atom / Ion 2. Equipped with a D510 processor Atom dual-core clocked at 1.66 GHz, this mini-PC is very compact since it displays the dimensions of 19.3 x 14.8 x 2.2 mm. It embeds 2 GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and Gigabit Ethernet controllers and 802.11n WiFi.
Four USB and two HDMI and VGA outputs are available. Its consumption is finally limited to 22 watts. Supplied with free DOS, EDGE-HD is available at a fee of approximately $ 300.
