Sapphire HD Mini-Edge PC, nettop super compact

Sapphire is now the leading desktop solution, characterized by very small overall dimensions and adequate performance for basic home use. Edge-HD Mini PC measures only 193x148x22 mm, weighing just over a pound. The chassis, has an extremely thin volume of less than half a liter and it is easy to place anywhere you want.

The accompanying stand allows a vertical position close to the TV display in your home or office. The compact size made it possible to install a motherboard based on nVidia video accelerator ION2 and central microprocessor at 1.66 GHz Intel Atom D510 This combination allows you to work without too much difficulty with the most common applications and operating environments to run as Windows 7 and Vista Aero graphics interface.

The standard equipment for this model requires the availability of 2 GB of DDR2 RAM at 800 MHz and a 250 GB hard drive, optical drive is not provided. The connectivity basis is quite large, with an adapter and a wireless LAN Gbit N. The communication ports include four USB ports, a microphone input and audio output.

Edge-HD Mini PC has VGA output for connecting with traditional monitors for home / office, as well as a HDMI to work in conjunction with digital display large plates, for playback of HD content up to 1.920x1.080 pixels. In this bundle is also HDMI / DVI. Sapphire pays particular attention to the environmental aspect, pointing out that HD-Edge Mini PC has a maximum power consumption of only 22 W, detail that makes it much less demanding in terms of energy, many notebooks and all desktop platforms.

Edge-HD comes with FREE DOS pre-installed but it is ready to install other operating environments such as Windows 7, Vista or Windows XP. All drivers are supplied in a USB memory device.
