VIA Nano X2 mini PC Zotac

The manufacturer Zotac advantage of Computex to introduce a mini PC ZBox based on a platform and boarding VIA Nano processor therefore X2 dual-core model running at 1.6 GHz. Showing dimensions of only 12 x 12 x 4 cm, this mini PC has an SD memory card reader and front audio connectors. On the back, there are HDMI and DisplayPort, an Ethernet connector, an eSATA connector, two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports.

A Barebone All-in-One Atom at Gigabyte

A few weeks ago, Gigabyte announced the launch of a barebones all-in-One based on a platform LGA 1155, the GB-AEBN. Today the manufacturer unveiled another Barebone All-in-One based this time on an Atom platform: GB-ACBN. Showing the dimensions of 460 x 350 x 42 mm, this all-in-One has a screen of 18.5 inches and features a dual-core Atom processor clocked at 1.8 GHz D525.

There are also two connectors DDR3-800, located 2.5 inches, a memory card reader 4-in-one and two USB 2.0 ports. 5.1 audio controller, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth complete the package. Gigabyte has unfortunately not yet provided pricing or availability date for this GB-ACBN. Given the characteristics of this AiO however, should be offered at an affordable price instead.

€ 17 PC with 1080p HDMI output, which could be better?

What to do with 17 €? Build a tiny personal microcomputer course! It has achieved the feat David Braben, developer of games for the British studio Frontier Developments. And that looks like it was created: The Raspberry Pi is no bigger a USB drive and also uses a USB port for its power and its connection with peripherals.

It has at its other end a HDMI port for display. Her little heart is an ARM architecture v11 SoC clocked at 700 MHz, type of processor that can still be found in a smartphone Nokia N8 example. Acer Z5763: an All-In-One Bridge and Sandy 3D

The Z5763 Acer should, unless last-minute surprises, make its appearance on European soil next month. This all-in-One includes a screen 23-inch Full HD compatible 3D platform and Sandy Bridge. We thus find a CPU-2400 i5, i5-i7-2600 or 2500s, depending on version, up to 16 GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 440 or GT435M up to 2 TB of storage space and a combo Blu -ray/DVD.

Controllers Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.1 are also available, along with a memory card reader, a 2 MP webcam and two integrated 5W speaker. A TV tuner is finally available as an option. Comes with Windows 7 Home Basic or Premium, or Linpus Linux, the Aspire Z5763 is expected at a rate of 999 pounds or 1125 euros.

HP Z210: A Compact Workstation

HP has introduced the successor to his work station Z200, Z210 logically named. An embedded processor Xeon E3, this new model is available in two compact formats: CMT (Convertible Minitower) and SFF (Small Form Factor). Can accommodate multiple hard drives or SSDs, for a maximum of 4.5 TB of storage space, the Z210 uses to choose the integrated graphics chipset to Intel, or an additional graphics card (AMD or NVIDIA Quadro FirePro).

Vigor EX: a workstation mobile dual-Xeon

The manufacturer NectComputing proposes a true portable workstation, the Vigor EX S5500. Comprising a 17-inch screen (touchscreen optional) capable of displaying a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a Xeon platform, this computer is integrated with a reinforced frame with carrying handle and anti-shock protection.

A mini-PC multimedia home soon Arctic

Arctic does seem determined to diversify its activities. The manufacturer should indeed soon launch a mini-PC multimedia receiving passive cooling system. Few details about the MC001 - that's his name - are currently known, but pictures of the beast, however, are already available. Running on Windows 7, this mini-PC has a memory card reader and two USB 3.0 ports on the front.

There is also an optical drive, audio connectors and it seems to be an infrared receiver. Brief: "wait and see" ...

Brazos for nettop DC100 MSI

MSI takes advantage of the CeBIT to discuss her Wind Box DC100, a platform based on a nettop Brazos AMD. Billed as a "perfect HTPC, this mini-PC with an APU So E-350 (gathering point for two cores running at 1.6 x86 Bobcat GHz chipset and Radeon HD 6310), 2 GB of RAM and disk Hard Drive 250 GB Wind Box DC100 also has six USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI and audio connectors.

MSI has unfortunately not yet indicated the price and availability date of this nettop.

An All-in-One Sandy Bridge 24 "Sony

Sony has unveiled a new computer model All-in-One, the VAIO L This includes a mobile platform Sandy Bridge (Huron River) and touch screen 24-inch diagonal Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and enjoying a LED backlight. We thus find the screen behind a Core i7-2630QM 2 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, a DVD (or Blu-ray) and a GeForce GT 540M .

Supervisors WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 3.0 are also present, as well as an HD webcam. Two integrated speakers of 5.5 W, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI output complete the package. Comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, the VAIO L should make its appearance on the European market as early as March.

Sapphire: a super-compact PC Atom/ION2

The manufacturer Sapphire has announced the launch of EDGE-HD, a platform based on a nettop Atom / Ion 2. Equipped with a D510 processor Atom dual-core clocked at 1.66 GHz, this mini-PC is very compact since it displays the dimensions of 19.3 x 14.8 x 2.2 mm. It embeds 2 GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive and Gigabit Ethernet controllers and 802.11n WiFi.

Four USB and two HDMI and VGA outputs are available. Its consumption is finally limited to 22 watts. Supplied with free DOS, EDGE-HD is available at a fee of approximately $ 300.
