The manufacturer HTC has just formalized at the Mobile World Congress, its touch pad Flyer. With a 7-inch screen capable of displaying a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, this tablet aluminum "unibody" has dimensions of 195 x 122 x 13 mm. Android running Gingerbread (an update is scheduled to Honeycomb), the Flyer features a single-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space.
A microSD card reader, a 5 MP sensor in the rear and a second sensor 1.3 MP front are available. Note also the support HSPA + / WCDMA, and the presence of controllers 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. GPS, an accelerometer and a microUSB connector complete the package, while the 4000 mAh battery allows a range of up to 4 hours of video playback.
The Flyer is finally delivered with an application OnLive that provides access to offers cloud gaming. Expected in the second quarter, the touch pad does not charge.
