If you believe the latest rumors circulating on the web, the Z68 chipset from Intel should be formalized as early as 8 May. So far, we had to settle for a date far more vague "in the second quarter of 2011, between 8 and 14 May Sandy Bridge for processors on Socket LGA 1155, the Z68 chipset should allow the overclocking of the CPU and enable access to integrated graphics, while providing some nice features like the SSD Caching.
Expected at a rate equivalent to the P67 chipset, the Z68 should finally enable the LGA 1155 platform to really become interesting.
