NVIDIA has released a plug-in Vision 3D, which lets you create a site using its stereoscopic 3D technology for distributing video. The plugin requires the use of Microsoft Media Player Platform Framework 2.5, formerly known as Silverlight Media Framework and now MPP. That means it is built on the same technology as NVIDIA 3D Web Community.
MPP is a media player open source websites. The goal is to design a multimedia player capable of streaming videos in 3D stereoscopic leveraging technology and 3D glasses Vision of the firm. The plug-in is free but requires creating an account at NVIDIA. The manufacturer's approach is interesting, since it is mainly aimed at professionals, it leaves the door open to amateurs who can play with the plug-in.
The chameleon has even published a guide to help those less experienced. The plug-in and tutorial are available on the Live Vision 3D, once the account is created.
