Zalman Announces CNPS11X Extreme

Zalman has officially unveiled the new heatsink CNPS11X Extreme CPU. Unveiled for the first time at CES 2011 in Las Vega - this takes a special heat sink design, called V-shape, consisting of two aluminum radiators positioned to form an angle of 45°. This configuration increases the surface area of dissipation and allows the fan to quickly dispose of the heat.

The two radiators communicate with the base contact to the CPU via 5 heatpipes composite (sintered axial groove), while the cooling fan has a diameter of 120mm and operates between 1000 and 1950rpm. The Zalman CNPS11X Extreme has dimensions of 135 x 80 x 154 mm and weighs 600 grams and is compatible with most AMD and Intel sockets.

Available from the end of April at a price not yet announced, bundled with the thermal grease ZM-STG2M.
