Microsoft has now gained two new records with the Kinect controller for the Xbox 360 since his debut, November 4, 2010, were sold over 10 million units of the device, including 8 million in the first 60 days. The result is insufficient to give Microsoft the Guinness world record for the consumer electronics device sold a lot faster which will be officially included in the next print edition of the book Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition.
The numbers are even enough to beat the sales of the iPhone and iPad in the same period of time. The battle between Microsoft and Apple now reiterates with the iPad will have two deployment plans more aggressive than what has been done with the first version. At present, however, the market for tablet begins to count a number of competitors, a situation that previously was instead almost exclusively only in the hands of Apple.
